Sushil Patel joined Replimune as Chief Commercial Officer in May 2021 and transitioned to Chief Strategy Officer in December of 2022 and then Chief Executive Office in April of 2024. Sushil brings more than 20 years of experience in the biotech industry including pre- and post-launch commercialization strategy and execution in both U.S. and global markets. Most recently he served as the Franchise Head for Lung, Skin, Tumor Agnostic, and Rare Cancers within Global Product Strategy at Genentech. Previously to that he served as the global launch lead and lifecycle leader for Tecentriq in lung cancer. He has been involved in more than 8 product launches (>20 indications) in various roles of increasing responsibility across marketing, sales, and franchise management. Prior to joining Genentech, he worked as a strategic management consultant and at IMS Health in their Pharma Strategy Group. Sushil is a member of the board of directors of Revolution Medicines, a clinical stage oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for RAS-addicted cancers, since June 2022. Sushil obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology and a Master of Sciences in Biotechnology from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London.

Kostas Xynos, MD, PhD, MBA, Joined Replimune in December 2021 bringing over 15 years of global biopharmaceutical experience in hematology and oncology drug development and medical affairs. Dr. Xynos joined Replimune from Deciphera where he spent the last three years, as Vice President of Global Medical Affairs. Prior to Deciphera, he spent nine years at AbbVie and three years at Astellas in increasingly senior global roles in oncology and hematology development as well as medical affairs. After receiving his BS in Biology at the University of Illinois, Dr. Xynos earned his MD at Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki and his MBA at Strathclyde University in Scotland. He completed his internal medicine residency and fellowship at the University of Athens Alexandra hospital where he served as a researcher and has practiced clinical medicine for several years.

Chris Sarchi joined Replimune as Chief Commercial Officer in December of 2022. Chris brings over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with 28 years dedicated to the field on Oncology working at GSK, Roche/​Genentech, Boehringer-Ingelheim, and most recently at Sanofi where he served as the General Manager and Head of Oncology in the U.S. He has been involved with 9 new product launches in oncology covering multiple tumor types, as well as supportive care products. Among these milestones, Chris led Libtayo’s launch as a new standard of care in CSCC, and was also involved with the launch of Erivedge in Basel Cell Carcinoma while at Genentech. Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine. 

Emily Hill was previously the CFO of PTC Therapeutics where she supported the company’s growth from clinical to commercial stage. Ms. Hill joined PTC shortly after the IPO to lead investor relations. Prior to joining PTC Therapeutics, Emily was Director of Investor Relations of Warner Chilcott where she was responsible for leading the function. Additionally, Ms. Hill was Senior Manager of Investor Relations at Genzyme Corporation. Prior to Genzyme, Emily was a Biotech Equity Research Associate at Summer Street Partners. Ms. Hill has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Fordham University, a Master of Science in Pharmacology from Tufts University School of Biomedical Research, and a BA from Hamilton College.

Paul Bullock is Chief Manufacturing Officer & Framingham Site Head for Replimune. He has over 25 years of experience developing and launching biopharmaceutical products and holds a BSc Hons Degree in Molecular Biology. Paul worked at British Biotech and Celltech-Medeva before joining BioVex in 2001, where he held the position of VP of CMC. He relocated to the United States in 2008 to oversee the technology transfer, scale-up, validation, and readiness for commercial production of ImlygicTM. Paul became an Executive Director in Amgen’s Operations Group following the acquisition of BioVex in 2011. Paul was the subject matter expert for ImlygicTM production and testing, supporting pre-BLA and post licensure Regulatory inspections. Paul joined Replimune as SVP CMC in 2017, managing CMOs for production & testing of Replimune’s products to support clinical trials. He oversaw the design, construction, and qualification of the Framingham manufacturing facility, and provides leadership to the Operations teams for the production of Replimune’s products.

Camilo Garcia, MA, MBA, joined Replimune as Head of HR in March 2021. He brings over 25 years of experience in human resources both within companies and in consulting roles, including more than 10 years in the biopharma sector. Prior to Replimune, Mr. Garcia spent three years as Vice President Human Resources for R&D and for M&A due diligence and integration at Alexion Pharmaceuticals. Before Alexion, he spent four years at Parexel, a leading global CRO, as Global Head of Leadership Development, Organizational Effectiveness & People Analytics, and three years at Novartis Vaccines, where he was Global Head of HR for R&D and several other functions. Within consulting, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, a Senior Case Team Leader at the Monitor Group, and a Consultant at IBM Consulting Group in Chile. Mr. Garcia holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and business from Universidad Catolica de Chile, as well as an MA in International Policy and an MBA from Stanford University.

Carolyn Trott joined Replimune in April 2024 as Senior Vice President of Quality Assurance. She has over 30 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Validation, Regulatory Affairs-CMC, and Quality. Ms. Trott was previously Vice President of Quality at AlloVir, and prior to that held the position of Specialty Care Quality Head at Sanofi Corporation. She has achieved multiple PAI/PLI approvals in her career at Genzyme-Sanofi, where she spent the majority of her career. Ms. Trott has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire.

Nina Aragam joined Replimune in 2023 with 18 years of biopharmaceutical focused experience driving strategy and operations across multiple business units. She has held strategic leadership, business planning and new product planning roles in large pharma and biotech including Pfizer, Takeda, Radius Health, and most recently Sanofi. Ms. Aragam has been part of three commercial launches, multiple lifecycle extensions, and actively supported the advancement of programs from inception to registration across therapeutic areas including rare disease, endocrinology, and oncology. She started her career as a management consultant and has an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.

Kari Jeschke joined Replimune in February 2021 with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry including over 20 years focused specifically on oncology. Prior to Replimune, Ms. Jeschke led the regulatory strategy to obtain global approvals of SARCLISA for multiple myeloma. In her previous positions, she played key roles in multiple product approvals in the U.S., working closely with the FDA, including CBER and CDER. She also has broad experience leading and supporting regulatory strategy in Europe and other key markets. Ms. Jeschke holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwest Missouri State University and a graduate degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Shawn joined Replimune in 2021 to lead the legal, compliance and corporate secretary functions with over 20 years of legal, intellectual property, and compliance experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and med-tech sectors. Prior to joining Replimune, Shawn led the legal, compliance, and corporate secretary function for Liquidia Corporation, including leading its initial public offering and its acquisition and corporate reorganization. Prior to Liquidia, Shawn was an attorney at the international law firm of Morgan Lewis & Bockius, LLP, in its Palo Alto, San Francisco, and Philadelphia offices, and began his legal career at Pennie & Edmonds LLP. Shawn holds a Juris Doctor degree, a Master of Science in Bioengineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and is licensed to practice in the States of California and Pennsylvania, as well as before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Philip Astley-Sparke is Executive Chairman and co-founder of Replimune and has served as a member of our Board since our formation in 2015. Previously he was the President and CEO of BioVex Inc, which developed the first oncolytic therapy which was approved in the U.S. and Europe in 2015. Philip relocated the Company from the UK to the US in 2005 before Biovex was acquired by Amgen for up to $1bn in 2011. Subsequent to BioVex/​Amgen, Philip was President at uniQure where he established their US infrastructure including the world’s largest gene therapy manufacturing facility and served as the Company’s Chairman from 2016 until June 2021. Philip also previously served as Chairman of the board of directors of Oxyrane Limited, a biotechnology company, from 2012 to 2020. Philip is currently a Venture Partner at Forbion Capital and serves on the board of Forbion European Acquisition Corp. Philip received a BSc in Cellular and Molecular Pathology from Bristol University UK, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and was a healthcare investment banker with Robert Fleming / Chase.

Dieter Weinand has been a member of our Board since June 2018 and Chairperson since April 2020. Dieter served as the Executive Vice President of Primary Care and a member of the Executive Committee at Sanofi. Before moving to Sanofi, Dieter was CEO of Bayer Pharmaceuticals AG and member of the Board of Management at Bayer AG. During an international career stretching back over 25 years, he has held various positions in commercial, operational and strategic areas of the pharmaceutical industry. These included responsibilities spanning various therapeutic areas and geographies for companies such as Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb or Otsuka. Dieter earned an MS in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Long Island University, New York, and a BA in biology from Concordia College, New York. Dieter was previously a member the board of directors of Bayer AG, from 2013 to 2014, and HealthPrize Technologies LLC, from 2014 to 2018.

Mr. Balachandran is a biopharma industry executive and has more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing and operations. He was previously with Amgen Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President of Operations, overseeing global operations and reporting directly to the CEO. Mr. Balachandran held senior operations positions at Burroughs Wellcome Co. Mr. Balachandran holds an MBA from East Carolina University, a MS in Chemical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Kapil Dhingra is the managing member of KAPital Consulting, LLC, a company he founded in 2008 that is dedicated to helping biotechnology, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies realize clinical and commercial advances in oncology. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of LAVA Therapeutics B.V., Black Diamond Therapeutics, Inc., Median Technologies Inc., and Autolus Therapeutics plc. He has previously served on the Boards of several successful biotech companies, including Exosome Diagnostics, Five Prime Therapeutics Inc., Advanced Accelerator Applications S.A., Biovex, Micromet, Algeta, YM Biosciences, and Epitherapeutics which were all acquired by major pharmaceutical companies.

From 1999 to 2008 Kapil Dhingra served at Hoffmann-La Roche, including as Vice President, Head, Oncology Disease Biology Leadership Team, and Head, Oncology Clinical Development. Prior to joining Roche, he worked in the oncology clinical development group at Eli Lilly and Company. From 1989 to 1996, he was a faculty member at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and during his industry career maintained active faculty appointments at Indiana University School of Medicine from 1997 to 1999, and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York from 2000 to 2008.

Kapil is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He serves as a member of the NCI Experimental Therapeutics panel, as well as the New Drug Advisory Committee of the EORTC.

Mr. Goller is a Partner at Baker Brothers Investments. Prior to joining Baker Brothers in 2005, Mr. Goller was an Associate of JPMorgan Partners, LLC where he focused on venture investments in the life sciences sector from 1999 to 2003. Mr. Goller began his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and Co. from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Goller holds a B.S. in molecular and cell biology from The Pennsylvania State University, and a Master’s in both biotechnology (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) and business administration (Wharton School) from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the boards of DBV Technologies SA, BeiGene, Ltd., Replimune Group, Inc., and Terremoto Biosciences, Inc.

Ms. Oliger has served as a member of the board of directors of Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc., a pharmaceutical company, Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, and, and LAVA Therapeutics, a clinical-stage immuno- oncology company, since August 2020, June 2021 and March 2023, respectively. She Served as a member of the board of directors of Sierra Oncology, Inc., a late-stage biopharmaceutical company from June 2021 until June 2022 when the company was Acquired by GSK. Previously, Ms. Oliger was Senior Vice President of the Oncology Business Unit at Genentech, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, responsible for all commercial activities in the U.S. Ms. Oliger spent two decades with Genentech from 2000 to 2020, holding a number of leadership roles including Senior Vice President, IMPACT Business Unit; Vice President, Pharma Portfolio Management; Vice President, Portfolio Planning and Vice President, Hematology Marketing and Sales. Prior to Genentech, Ms. Oliger held management positions at Schering-Plough. Ms. Oliger holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Veleka R. Peeples-Dyer has served as a strategic enterprise leader at leading biopharmaceutical companies serving as in-house counsel for over 16 years and outside counsel to global life sciences clients through her partnerships at prominent life sciences law firms, including as the Chair of the North American Food and Drug practice and Co-Chair of the Global Regulatory Group at Baker McKenzie, a top ten global life sciences firm. Throughout her career in the life sciences industry, including executive appointments as Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary, Veleka has provided business, legal and compliance advice and counsel on a wide variety of matters, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory, global compliance, business development, clinical trials, quality, manufacturing, commercialization and other corporate matters. Ms. Peeples-Dyer is also currently on the Advisory Board of Syridex Bio.

Ms. Peeples-Dyer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hampton University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Mr. Paolo Pucci has been a member of our Board since April 2020. From 2008 until its acquisition by Merck & Co. in January 2020, Mr. Pucci served as the Chief Executive Officer of ArQule, Inc., a biopharmaceutical oncology and rare diseases company engaged in the research and development of targeted therapeutics. Before joining ArQule, Inc., Mr. Pucci worked at Bayer AG from 2001 to 2008, where he served in a number of leadership capacities, including President of the Oncology & Global Specialty Medicines Business Units, and was a member of the Bayer AG Pharmaceuticals Global Management Committee. Before Bayer AG, Mr. Pucci held positions of increasing responsibility with Eli Lilly & Co. from July 1991 to April 2001, culminating with his appointment as Managing Director, Eli Lilly Sweden AB. Mr. Pucci currently serves on the boards of directors of West Pharmaceuticals Services, Inc. and Merus N.V. each of which are publicly listed companies, and previously served on the boards of directors of ArQule, Inc., Algeta ASA, until its acquisition by Bayer AG, Dyax Inc., until its acquisition by Shire plc, NewLink Genetics Inc. and Trillium Therapeutics, Inc., until its acquisition by Pfizer Inc. Mr. Pucci earned an M.S. in economics and accounting from Università degli Study di Napoli Federico II and an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago.

Joseph Slattery has been a member of our Board since 2017 and previously served as our lead independent director from March 2019 until March 31, 2020. Joe currently serves on the boards of directors of Morphic Therapeutic, Inc. and CVRx Inc., and he previously served as a director of Omega Alpha SPAC, Baxano Surgical, Inc., Exosome Diagnostics, Inc. and Micromet, Inc. He previously served as executive vice president and CFO of TransEnterix, Inc. (now Asensus Surgical, Inc.), as executive vice president and CFO at Baxano Surgical Inc., and as CFO and senior vice president of finance and information systems of Digene Corp. Joseph earned his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Bentley University and is a certified public accountant.

Robert Coffin is Founder and Chief Scientist of Replimune. Previously, he was Founder & CTO of BioVex Inc., a spin-out from his research group at University College London in 1999. BioVex was acquired by Amgen in 2011 where Rob was VP Global Development until 2013, before co-founding Replimune in 2015. Rob was awarded a PhD in virology from Imperial College London prior to his move to University College London in 1991.
